Before You Contact Anyone
Leave the building. Do not touch light switches, do not unplug anything, do not call from inside. Once outside and clear, call your gas utility's emergency line. That is a utility call before it is a plumbing one.
Shut it off at the fixture valve or the main first, then get in touch. In most Wichita Falls homes the main is at the meter box near the street or on the exterior wall closest to the street.
