How This Service Works

No, and we would rather say so plainly than let you find out later. We are a referral service. We take your request and pass it to a licensed Texas plumber who covers your area and handles that type of work. The plumber quotes you, does the work and warranties it directly with you. We do not perform plumbing work, we do not employ plumbers and nobody from this website is coming to your house.

Sending a request costs you nothing and puts you under no obligation to hire anyone. What the plumber charges for the visit and the work is agreed directly between you and them, and we are not part of that transaction. Worth asking them up front: is there a dispatch or diagnostic fee, and is it credited against the repair if you go ahead? That varies between companies and it is the detail people most often forget to check.

The intention is one. Some referral services sell the same request to several contractors, which generates a week of competing calls and helps nobody who is standing in water. That is not what we are aiming to do. If more than one plumber contacts you about the same request, tell us, because that is worth knowing.

Three things: whether they hold a current Texas licence, whether they genuinely cover your area, and whether they do the specific type of work you need. Those are not interchangeable. Somebody with a failing aerobic septic system in Archer County needs a very different plumber from somebody with a blocked kitchen drain in Faith Village, and sending the wrong one wastes everyone's time.

Tell us, because it should not happen. That said, coverage genuinely does run out at some distance, and there are times when nobody is available for a particular job. We would far rather tell you honestly that we cannot help than leave you waiting on a callback that is never coming. If you are in a genuine emergency and have not heard back quickly, do not wait on us. Shut the water off and call around directly.

We can tell you what to check, and the hiring guide covers it properly: verifying the licence with the state board, insisting on a written quote before work starts, making sure permits are pulled, and the specific red flags worth walking away from. What we cannot do is vouch for the quality of any individual job or guarantee an outcome. Anyone who tells you they can guarantee a contractor's work is overpromising.

Reasonable question and the answer is straightforward. Plumbing companies pay to receive qualified enquiries, because it is cheaper for them than advertising for themselves. You are not charged for the referral, and the plumber prices the job the same way they would for anyone who called them directly. It is worth knowing how a service is funded before you use it, so we would rather tell you than have you wonder.
